Mount Rainier Pool is pleased to announce its updated schedule including: lap swimming, water exercise, water walking and swim lessons.
APPOINTMENTS: Effective March 29, we will not require appointments, but will still require people to show up for only scheduled swims (See schedule below).
LAP SWIMMING: Effective March 29th, we will not require appointments and not have a limit on the number of swimmers per lane with the exception of:
- SPECIAL ONE SWIMMER/LANE: The only exception to two swimmers per lane is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., which will only accept one person per lane (for those who still may not be comfortable sharing a lane). Remember all reservations are first-come, first-serve.
WATER EXERCISE: Water Exercise classes will now have a limit of 12 people per class (previously 10) for all classes. There are no appointments required.
WATER WALKING: There no longer will be a limit on the number of people for water walking. We ask that water walkers continue to walk along their lane line on the bottom of the pool and ensure six feet of distancing.
SWIM LESSONS: Swim lessons for April will be moved to Saturdays**. Registration for new swimmers will begin on Thursday, March 25. For more information, see swim lesson section below.
IMPORTANT! Please read the following guidelines and be aware of them before visiting the pool for your chosen activity.

NEW! UPDATED SCHEDULE: See schedule (effective March 29) at bottom of email.
OTHER PROGRAMMING: Other programming will be reintroduced soon. We are working to add these programs in a safe and effective way. Please check back for future updates. This includes: open swims, rentals, family swims and other programs not listed in this email.
SHOWERING: Come ready to swim with your swimsuit on under your clothes. With showers closed, it is critical that everyone takes a cleansing shower before arriving at the pool. Showering before entering the pools helps ensure clean, clear and safe water conditions.
FUTURE UPDATES: Due to the complexity of the Pandemic and State Directives there will be more future updates. If you were forwarded this email or linked to it on social media or the website, please use the buttons below to sign up for future updates. Finally, please help us spread the word by sharing the information with the button below.
*Although directives allow for increased capacity, aquatic centers are required to ensure six feet of distance between all users (except lap swimming).
